Oxymetholone 50 (anadrol) is a synthetic male hormone (androgen or anabolic steroid) administrated to treat a low red blood cell count (anemia). Oxymetholone works by increasing the quantity of the hormone (erythropoietin) combined in the making of red blood cells. This preparations does not augment sport facility. When used as indicated under therapeutic regulation, the risks are minimal. Oxymetholone is administrated to treat definite kinds of anemia (lack of red blood cells), including aplastic anemia, myelofibrosis, or hypoplastic anemia initiated by chemotherapy. This drug can as well be used for supplementary purposes not listed here.
